Depends on when we can chat.

I'm about halfway through Chapter 4, and about to read a bit tonight. I can chat tomorrow night (Wednesday), but not Thursday. At the moment, I have no plans Friday or the weekend (was going away, but changed plans). The longer we wait... the more I'm going to read. I don't think I can stop.

Since I know where you are... OMG!! I was crushed when the Cullens left. I cannot believe they (he) did this. They had to know how painful it would be right? I almost slipped into depression just reading it.

How far do I go?

I am starting chapter 4 - how far do I need to read to catch up with you?

Just a thought for the future

I think we agreed that at some point in this series Bella will become a vampire. At least I hope so! I think when she does, the fact that Edward can't read her mind will come up as her "super power" somehow.

I think last night I started reading Chapter 4, so I'm not too far in. I'd LOVE to discuss stuff here already, but won't spoil it for you. Why don't we wait a day or two and see where you are before having a book chat.

Maybe Alicia will catch up to us and can join at some point while we are working our way through book 2!!

Hey - where'd that weekend go???

So it's late Sunday night and while I purchased New Moon, I have yet to crack it open and read anything. I might get a little in when I go to bed, and then on the ferry tomorrow, but it might not be chat-worthy. Where are you?

On the plus side, I just got a text from my friend Alicia. She is in Portland for a training and brought Twilight along for the hotel. She is halfway through already and totally digging it! Yes!!! Another convert!

OK - so Stephanie Meyer wrote that first chapter of book 2 solely for inclusion in "Twilight". What a cruel, cruel cliffhanger!!!

I ran out of pages

I am finished - crammed in the last few pages in the gym parking lot! The first chapter of the 2nd book is also in my version, so I am going to read that to catch up with you. Didn't buy the 2nd book yet but will shortly! I am a little disappointed with the end, I think.
